Is the victim seizing?

🛡 Protect the victim by supporting their head
🪑 Move dangerous objects away from nearby
⏱ Note the start time of the seizure
After the seizure — Primary survey
🔄 Full primary reassessment
Place in recovery position
🌡 Cover the victim
(warm or foil blanket)
Is the victim very hot
to the touch?
YES
🌡 Cooling
Undress the victim (leave underwear)
Move to a cool area
Cold (not iced) wet towel: neck, under arms, between legs
If bath available: water at < 2 °C below body temperature
Primary reassessment
